Probably Gerrard imo. Owen would make a good captain, but I'm still doubting his return to fitness! Neville won'tbe playing much longer and I wouldn't have even included Rooney up there!

Terry or Gerrard. Terry as he is a monster of a player and wouldnt take shit from anyone, plus he has experience as a captain. Gerrard because he's simply immense and has won nearly everything at club level.

Has to be Terry, no doubt in my eyes, Gerrard would be a good choice, but Terry as a first choice.

Gerrard IMO, I think he's got the ability to react when given responsability, he seems to be contained for England, time to let his real self out of it's shell.

I think Gerrard, seems responsible, is only really famous for his football and I think the other players will give him the respect he deserves.

I think gerrard - he does a good job for Liverpool and he has the passion for the team. Yeah - i know he doesnt play aswell for England than for liverpool but i think the captaincy would make a diff.
not too keen on neville or terry being captain - the chelsea players dont seem to same impact when playing for their country.
oh... I think Becks has done a great job as captain. I think this is the beginning of the end tho for him as players like Lennon will grow and there will be a time when Lennon will be picked instead of BEck - and i feel that will be within the next year or so.

Gerrard for me. He has the ability to bring the best out of his team mates when they need it most and the drive and passion of a true leader
