This is a very sad day for me and will be worsa when it finally goes, but i have decided that me and my missus need a car that we can both get insured on and she cant on this. I have only had the car since January, bought it off Wrighty which started life as a 1.2, he will be able to tell you how much time and effort has gone into this since owning it, after buying it off him i have done the following :
20XE engine professionally fitted (not a bodge job like many). Bottom end rebuild 900 miles ago to be exact cosisting of new shells, oil pump, rings, Z20LET sump gasket etc....due to oil pump failure.
The engine has cost me just under £1200 to be fitted and rebuilt about a month ago
I have lowered the raer of the car by 80mm as it was 60/40 before sat on FK shocks and springs
2.0 16v discs and calipers
OMP exhaust with 2 1/2" tailpipe
GSI sideskirts (with ALL jacking point covers )
OMP steering wheel
Tigra clocks (showing actual mileage of car - 89000)
Replaced the silver sprayed dash with original black
Alpine Headunit and speakers
The car also has
16" speedlines with all good tyres
GSi front bumper
GSi spoiler
Late corsa sport interior which are in very good condition
MHW Smoked rear lights
Depo smoked headlights
Clear side repeaters
It has MOT til March 21st 2007
And i have just put 6 months tax on it
Still as a 1.2 on log book, up to the new owner to change
£2200
Here are the pics
Any questions please U2U me or leave a message in here, checked everyday.
Car is located 5 miles from chester
Thanks

was gutted to see this drive away from me after seeing what it finally looked like and now it has the icing on the cake-a redtop!
looked after this car religiously, cleaned it even when it was stood in the garage for days on end and no doubt russ has looked after it all the same

the 20xe is the older engine and doesnt require the Cat for the mot.

c20xe has a catalytic converter in the exhaust
20xe doesn't.

It will go through the mot as the engine number will show that the engine does not require a cat
EDIT: I will answer U2U's when i get home as my work computer wont let me read them

Right this needs to go this week if possible,as i am moving house very soon. i have another brand new oil pump coming from autovaux this week as the pressure relief valve gets stuck on the new one i had from time to time, but i will get this fitted or you could fit it yourself
Grab yourself a bargain £1900 without it fitted
Or £2000 with it fitted

WHat does the relief valve sticking cause the engine to do? Has it been starved of oil or that??
What condition is bodywork, dents, scratches etc. May be v interested in this if it is immaculate bodywork wise...
Cheers

Alrite mate, just checked insurance and can insure this easily so if you could u2u me your postcode to see how far you are from me that would be great. Also when would you be fitting the oil pump, ie would viewing this weekend be possible? Cheers
EDIT: Could view any night this from tommorow onwards.
