Here are some pics of the Kawasaki & Harman demo bike that we built at SQ Plus earlier this year;
Before anyone asks silly questions like "does it drive?" or "what's the point?".. please understand that this was created for a corporate company as a marketing tool, aimed to showcase thier product & create a strinking impression that is likely to stick in the viewer's mind.
Just thought I'd share it here, incase anyone's interested.

I don't think it was about being a show stopper in the looks department I'm impressed with the amount of work, and the fact that it looks like a good job they've done

Wrong actually!.. The bike was a pre-season race bike & the frame was twisted due to an accident. No good for racing again, but suitible for what Harman wanted.
Harman make the JBL equipment, so that's no waste.. its just the same as sticking it all in a demo stand.

why do people have such a problem when companies use things like this to domonstrate what they can achieve?? if they can flush subs into a motorbike frame then they are more than capable of building a tidy install. how can they show off their crazy and innovative plans by doing something conservative and conventional??

people dont buy bikes to fill them full of ice, people buy bikes to go fast. adding alot of weight doesnt exactly help this...
so in my eyes even just doing it to advertise is pointless

perhaps its not just for bikes... sq plus does car installs mainly iir. it demonstrates them fitting audio into unusual or tight fitting places that people have yet to think of. put in your own jokes about genitals here .....................................

then why not get a car and find new and unusual places to add their audio stuff into...
would make much more sense than doing it to a bike, mainly becuase you'll get far less people wanting it done to their bikes
maybe thats just me though

We have done plenty of demo cars (and customers cars) with audio equipment fitted into unusual places..
The bike however, was created for a paying customer - Harman (as in Harmon Kardon, JBL, Infinity). You may feel they made a silly decision choosing a bike to use as a way of showcasing their new products, but it isn't your money they were spending. I'm quite sure they have far more experience when it comes to marketing & what marketing tools work best for them, but if you feel i'm wrong, then why not contact them & let them know - I'm sure they would welcome any educated advice!
On a side note, if people only buy bikes to go fast, how then do you explain these?
Cheers for the comments cossie_corsa.
