Just started pre season training with my team, bit of circuit stuff, shuttle sprints etc etc.... but I can tell I've had a month off, playing 6-a-side doesn't keep me as fit I usually am, trainings been upped to twice a week now (Sunday morning, Thursday night) then game Saturday.
Any of you just started your pre-season warm-ups?

Started doing a bit of running, nothing major yet, just a couple if miles round the village.

Go down the gym quite regular so never really get that unfit, not looking forward to the shuttle when "proper" training resumes

Started last month, got out first friendly on the 15th, another on the 20th. Season starts when premiership does so not long to go now! Fitness doesn't seem to bad actually, confident I'll be upto speed by mid August.

I'm fooked, our 5-a-side league starts tomorrow at 9pm, and I've done no training this week

Luckily I'm the keeper, but I like to be able to keep up with the lads in training

just started up Sunday mornings again, have been doing 5 a side on Thursday evenings for quite a while. Also play monday evenings (5 a side but with a different bunch).

Sunday Started training, just a small match as the turnout wasn't great (some players still in Germany). This fat oaf was committing quite a few dangerous fouls and one of my mates had a go at him and pushed him. Nothing rough, just a gentle shove to tell him to clear his act up. This fat kid squares up to him and hits him bang on the chin couldn't quite believe it happened to be honest but it was quite funny.

Don't think he'll be playing for us anymore, he's crap anyway. Fat and slow.

I know it sounds weird but I like it when my legs are tired the day after a training session or match...

Played lastnight, got down there early to watch the other teams and OMG we are one of the best, deffo.

Although our first game we would have to come up against one of the better teams, we lost 4-3, some outstanding stops by me, I was really on form lastnight.
