Apparantley happy where he is. This could be a blessing in disguise for Rossi in my opinion, hes so desperate to stay and prove himself in first team football. Still looking at Carrick for midfield, but this could also be a chance for Richardson to push himself in to the first team. Hes like a mini Giggs lol.
What you say Rich and Mike

I say lack of ambition from United, a few years ago they would have made a couple of big signings. Richardson doesn't look upto it to me - least not for a side with their aspirations. Midfield as a whole isn't that great.

I like Richardson, you can tell he is young by the way he plays but got the potential to be a good player. Rossi will come good with some experience under him, prob only just going to break into the side this year though, so wouldnt expect too much.
I said you wouldnt get Torres though

Roget was a ledgend... Never forget when he went to Romford with his mates and his mate got beaten up by a gang with knifes. He jumped in and took them all on by himself and apparently saved his mates life. He got a massive slash accross his face though!
Fair play to the lad!
Was rumours he would come back but not sure now we have progressed so well.
Ricketts... Well.... To be fair to him he has done well in pre-season BUT now he is injured it's a BIG blow to us with only 1 decent striker (Eastwood). Ricketts is now out for the 1st few games (apparently) but ill wait and see on how he does in the "real" games as to whether I slag him off or not.
Tilson has amazing magic in turning idiots and lazy players into good ones and non league players (eastwood, cole, hooper and many more) into great players!
Time will tell.... Bring on Pompey tonight!

Man Utd are pathetic, who exactly have they signed? Their midfield is mediocre, Hargreaves would have been a good signing for them, but again they don't sign anyone.

Having said that Olivia, Scholes should be back to form now. Agreed though, Hargreaves and/or Carrick would be good.

Scholes wont make it through the season, not with his eye problems which are really serious. Plus he isnt the defending midfielder you need (everyone knows he cant tackle for shit!)

Im not sure you ever can though (like Sissoko for us) all it takes is one knock and he could be like that all over again. Shall see this season I expect, but just dont think he'll be the same player as before.

I cant believe Fergi thought about offloading Rossi - he has broken every reserve record going!

If he doesn't bring someone in then maybe he'll get his shot.

Carrick has rejected a new contract from Spurs so I guess he'll be on his way to Old Trafford.

Scholes wouldn't be playing if he still had problems. If they're playing him in friendlies with eye problems then why would they not play him in the Premiership where he was really needed last season...
