Marwick, this must be made Sticky!

As the season is closing in, and friendlys are round the corner....please post the team you play for, what league/district. what position you play, and objectives for the season. If you have pics of your team, please post them aswell! Additional information like Kit and Team spirit are also good things to post.

Each week, please post if you had a match or trained, and a quick summary of the match, updating everyone with league/cup position

Here's last seasons thread for historical purposes
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=238810

I guess I will start:
Club: Currently playing for CJU FC - (Criminal Justice Unit - The police lol )
Position: Stirker, hang off the last man, looking for the tap in's
League: Flare Recruitemnt league Div 3
Personal Objectives: I scored 11 goals last season, I plan to match this. If i get 10, I will be more than happy. Also looking to get more pitch time than last season.
Last season: came 2nd in the league. got to the 1/4 finals of 2 cups and semi final of another. I scored 11 goals, mainly from the bench.

Here's a pic of the team last season, all still there, some new faces though.

@ Jamie.

Club: Belhus Park Rangers
League: Thurrock Assosiation Sunday League
Personal Objectives: To score more than I did last season (which was my first season by the way).
Last season: Had a good run towards the end of the season but a few players in the team dragged us down with silly red cards and under-par performances.

I will be playing up-front this season which I'm not too sure about. I like to have the ball at my feet and central midfield would be ideal for me. I'm not a big bloke though so aerial challenges aren't my strong point.

I'll get the pic from last season up when the manager finally sorts it

Good thread Luigi

Club: Aston FC Reserves
League: Witney & District FA Division 3 (Saturday Football - no pub teams etc)
Personal Objectives: To get more pitch time
Last season: Finished as 4th worst team in entire League but a reasonable cup-run saw us lose to eventual League & Cup winners in the Quarters 6-2

Played 90 minutes once :S Ran the line FAR too much, need to break that

For Luigi's sake

Second game in 3 days...we won 3-0 was a solid performace I would say we had 60% of the possession...I played welll although was a little quiet in the second half due to the amount of changes made...twinged a ligament in my ankle too when tackled whilst striking the ball...nothing serious but its a little sore...should be ok for our next friendly this Sunday...my fitness is improving all the time..played the full 90 today...felt strong..

One of the lads is mates with a player who plays in League 1....he came down to watch and even put a kit on and came on for 30 mins...he looked quite fit but didnt look overly amazing compared to the rest of us (obviously he is going to be a better player)...the first time he was played the ball it took a bobble and he completely missed it and it rolled out for a throw in... ...probably used to a lot better pitches and looked at the ground in disgust...but was found hysterical by the lads...most impressive was the talking coming from him on the pitch...

Was good to see the difference in players...he is a regular first teamer in an established league 1 club...cant say who as obviously he would get in shoot if his club found out...

i had a match today, first friendly for this new team! started as major underdogs as were division 3 and the opposition are divinsion 1, i played centre back was a bit worried at first as this is my 1st 11-a-side game in 2 years and what with the heat and playing in a black kit i was quickly fucked! but kept going it was a good game lots of strong battles if a little scrappy, but the out come....we won 4-3 + there striker for the game plays for quite a well known league one team though i think he was taking it easy.

so my conclusion...bring on the next game

Can't wait until Sunday
