Im looking to fit some type of aftermarket brake servo and master cylinder to the corsa as I have come to the conclusion that no matter what brakes you fit to a corsa you will never make them fantastic until you sort the pathetic master cylinder set-up.
anyone done/ seen any pedal box set-ups?

first thing I did. the guy was useless, just tried to sell me a wilwood master cylinder and couldnt advise about wether i would need the brakes to be servo assisted or anything.

get a pedal box with separate master cylinders, one front one back. servo is optional. how strong are your legs?

Rob, thanks for sorting those lads out on saturday with the engine
might look into trying a 1.4 master cylinder and servo first, have heared from more than 1 person on seperate sites that they are better than others for pedal feel and travel. for some reason, even with 4 pot brakes, new brake lines throughout, fresh fluid, new master cylinder and servo and braided hoses it feels shit. stops ok but pedal nearly bottoms out!
checked with Hi-spec as well just incase the I had the wrong size pistons in the callipers for a corsa. but they are correct.

the gsi Master cylinder was for ABS brakes. the unions on the cylinder were different.

i would have thought the same, but me and broster have a good solid pedal, M sutton and Mattss corsa had spongey pedals, sutton's is a 1.2 8v, matts was a gsi
mine and marks were both non ABS 1.4 sports

mine was a 1,28v, n mine with v6 brakes and servo vacume plumbed into the manztel they were brillaint, many people commented on the fact the pedal feel was top notch as well as the brakes themselves
as soon as i went back to a standard inlet they went crap ???

it could be actually
its a vacuum servo, so maybe with the higher flowing inlet, it gets more vacuum 'pressure'
but mine was ok on a standard one AFAIR
