Criteria - nice looking, classy, quick etc Thought about an E46 M3 softop with new rims/suspension and leave it at that. Always liked 911's but can't get anything decent for that.

Needs to have 4 seats too as I can't be doing with 2 for much longer

if you get an M3, get one with a roof. no point in buying a performance car which has been weighed down and weakened all over the place so it flaps about.

Audi RS4?

No babies thank god Just getting a bit fed up with a car with no boot/room or seats. Shame the A4 softop is so sodding slow as I think they look nice with a posh set of rims on. Don't really want anything jap again, had loads now

My 350z roadster is the best car I've even owned inc. an Evo Makinen. Nothing wrong with softops although granted the M3 does suffer more than the Z. Just enjoyed having roof down loads this summer would be a shame to give that up. And I'm not majorly fussed on performance, if I wanted that i'd go for another monster Evo and not an M3.

is that right about 1000bhp

edit - says further down its 700bhp but could be capable of running 1000bhp

Not really a fan of X5's I have looked at Range Rover Vogues though although bit worried a new model is on the horizen and prices will be hammered.
