Why bother giving me 4.99 change, it would cost the petrol station 1 p just to pay the member of staff to count all the shrapnel up

why don't you learn how to use the pumps until you're skillful enough to get it bang on £15?

All the garages near me have penny pots for you to pinch a penny from. Just draws attention to the fact that you can't use a pump properly. Having said that - I don't normally carry cash and pay by debit card instead - don't see the point in trying to get it on a nice round number - just stop when my wrist/hand hurts as the pumps are too big.

Ive never seen a penny jar before at a petrol station .

I always pay on my credit card when i buy petrol but i still always go for a round number. I normally fill it up till it clicks then go up to the next quid. £36 last time
