Thought this might be quite a useful thread

The obvious ones that spring to mind are things like the Cav GSI rims & brakes/engines from Astra GTE/GSI


So, what little bits are on your car that started off life intended to be on other models?

well, its not vaux but my cold air feed is from a ford capri

my throttle bodies are off a 8v nova

my 4 pots were made for an astra

my brake lines are off a pug

my wheel bearings are from a daewoo

my door handles are from a vectra

Its all the little trim bits that are quite interesting, easy to do & cheap to buy

Might put some Vectra handles in my runabout. Saw that Demo had the electric sunroof put in but I don't think I'd trust that in my shitter, the water leak would soon sort that out

I have a Cavalier engine and gearbox, some brakes off of a car which was a vauxhall with 4 stud wheels, but I can't remember which and a headlight stalk from an Astra which is identicle to the Corsa one
