Don't want to spend loads but I just need it for a bit of spraying & maybe a bit of air tool usage in the future
Also these are the range of spray guns they do

None of them produce a high enough ammount of air (CFM) to run any tools or paint with really. For most spray guns you want to have about 12-14 CFM, then you can run a few tools off of it too.

Im talking about a bit of spraying here, not a full car. Just a bonnet, bumper etc etc
Is there any on that site that you think would be suitable?

I was trying to find the one Tom started out with. It's got a 100litre tank and is a perfect addition to any workshop. It cost £170 on eBay, but I can't find them at the moment.
Another problem is the tanks on those are all a bit on the small side. For single pannels you might be able to get away with a 50 litre tank with a powerful motor on it.

Thats a bit more than I wanted to pay to be honest
Ash has the one similar to the top one on that list, he reckons it was fine for a bit of painting

Also what about the air sander/polishers?
That would be dead handy!

You will never run a sander on a 50ltr compressor. Need at least 100ltr

Yeah, what Stu said, tried a mate's air grinder on mine, runs for about 5 seconds then isn't much use.

No chance what so ever on a compressor that small. My compressor works it's ass off with the air d/a and it's got a 200 litre tank with a twin piston compressor on it.

Thats alot better spec but i think i would be worried about having issues with it and not being able to take it back, especially if its not brand new. I just got one from Machine Mart and it wasnt working properly so they replaced it, you wouldnt be able to do that with one from ebay.

I think my gun has a 1.7 nozzle. But you should get nozzles with your hun so you can change them over.

That looks a good buy. I'd just be thinking about Quality and reliability with that as its cheap.
