Was fitting my strut brace tonight (which doesnt fit properly due to my inlet) and found that the only way it would fit would be if the back of the bonnet were raised.

Which got me thinking . .

Is it worth doing to let the hot air out of a 1.6 ?

I don't think it looks cool etc but if it served a purpose ?

do you think this would be benificial for my xe on bike carbs as it gets bloody hot and i dont think there getting enough air still?

was temped to do it on the nova, but im just too damn lazy to do anything

said i would change the cam belt 6 mths ago and that still aint done

It's not. Corsa's were designed to have a 1.6 in them. The cooling system has been designed to cool the engine sufficiently. The engine should be running as hot as feasably possible. In this case it's between 90 and 98ish degrees.

not possible to mod the underneath of your bonnet slightly so it clears it ?

my mate got pulled by the police , and they charged him for them, because of sharp edges? got a 21day ticket for em? he has them back in now,cause it looks sooo good we em.........

there not 7 spokes

the reason is ther were not fitted to a rs, and more importantly they dont have 7 spokes

it could easily be, but they suit it really well in reality,its a 1.6turbo,pushing around 230bhp,but typical ford turbo,its off the road with probs
the plate is good- XRV 438- stands for XR VAN ! as it was one originally.
