Are we in for another dismal display tonight, or are they going to get their fingers out and actually play some good football? The last match was a disgrace and to be honest I was bored. Scott Parker looks set t oreplace Gerrard too, might bring something new to the set up. Still looks likely to be a 3-5-2 set up as well.

usually after a poor performance we bounce back with a high scoring win. so im gonna go for 3-0. rooney to get one in there somewhere and im gonna go for crouch and wright-phillips for the other 2

Croatia are a decent outfit lads, think most people are forgetting that... they will most certainly provide a tougher challenge than Macedonia that's for sure.

I don't think the 3-5-2 works. Whilst a good in theory, it leaves the defence rather open if we get overrun in midfield.

4-4-2 I say. With Gerrard on the right, Lampard and Carrick in the middle, SWP on the left. Lofted balls played from the middle to Crouch who will get the flick ons to Rooney. Crouch can also hold the ball up extremely well to give time for the midfielders to get into their defence.

Cole - Ferdinand - Terry - Neville

at the back in that formation.

I know mate was just saying that would be system/team I would play if the players were available.

No doubt tonight he will be sticking with his 3-5-2.

3-5-2 should work tonoight because of the players available but I don't for a second think he'd consider it if he had a full squad available!

no need for apologies mate, I realise I could have worded my post better

I'm predicting a tough game tonight, I'm going to say 2-1 to England. With perhaps Croatia taking the lead early on.

I'd be happy with a point from this game. It's gonna be tough after the weekend and Croatia haven't lost at home for 12 years
