well would you say an increase from 109 to 124 with just and induction kit and exhaust is good?
as a chip and map has been made for my car and the results can take it up to 140bhp.

At a guess yes, indeed. Especially with out any head work/cams etc. The GSi engine *I know not the same* With inlets/exhaust manifolds/full exhaust inc de-cat only make around 130bhp ... So an induction kit/and exhaust i really wud say . . . . Yes, bullshit unless they respond really really really really well to induction kits

from the mapper:
The thing with these cars is that they run very low advance, i have found out last night that this is due to the regions they sell this engine type in so it will run on many fuel grades (even as low as 88 octane) !!!
Our maps mean you must use at least 95 octane, if you go to europe you must use there super which is like out standard.
Preferably though use super unleaded as this will not only give you more power but also give you better economy so it really does outweigh the extra cost of the fuel.
These engines run 6 degree advance in the mapping, they can run 12 degree without any problems whatsoever and we even ran tests on temps and all were fine.
There is a lot of power in these small engines, something that would shock many owners of so called higher powered cars !!!!!
