From when I went to the British International Motorshow in the summer. One of the funniest moments was when we went to BMW and saw an M3. Dad wanted to have a look at the engine to see how clean it was, so just went into the car, opened the bonnet then lifted it up, everyone looked at him as if to say "you're a genius!"
Anyway, I think this is a tad over the top. Cameras & screens for the door mirrors was a nice touch

Thought some of you lot might have seen it - the only reason I took pictures was because of what they'd achieved and the sheer shock at the cost. I still think it is a joke though; and not road legal surprisingly.

ahhh just an anecdote from the Motorshow - it's just everyone sits in the car etc but doesn't dare touch it, but dad just went ahead and did it as he has one.

I think a lot of you are missing the point... We built the car as a demonstration of the level of workmanship that we can achieve.
Correct, it won't be worth £108k if we wanted to sell it, but the £108k figure comes from the cost of the original car, equipment, paint, labour etc..
The car did not cost us that amount though, as we put in the labour, and most of the equipment in the car was given by various sponsers (Alpine being the obvious one).. So saying we're stupid for spending £108k on a C2, is actually incorrect..
The other point I shouls make is that the £15-20k that was actually spent by SQ Plus has gone a lot further in terms of advertising, than if it was used to buy adverts or airtime. So again, from a buisiness point of view, the money was pretty well spent.
We have also earned a lot of business from the back of it.. private & corporate. So much so, that we have now opened a bodyshop in Kent, where Darren Horton is based.
The car is road legal, and is often used on the road - it has been driven to several local events

Martin, who was it you spoke to? Was it Phil, or someone from Powerflow?

Did you get any photo's of the girls that were sat near the car selling raffle tickets? They were lovely!
