wel after about a month of finally searchin for a nice tidy 1.6 sport i stumbled acoss hoppers old car in derby so took a trip to see if and he assureed me it was mint and once i got there i realised he wasnt lying so i snapped the offer up

it looked like this when i bought it

the 1st thing on the list was to lower it went for 70mm front 60mm back

then can a few little touches

boot gromit

headlight protectors

painted v-grille

next was a trip up to burnley to pick up a set of cav gsi wheels

next thing was up to shropshire to iaz house for a bit of refurb on the wheels

also got vectra handles and roof rails painted brocade yellow

then came the big change all the plastic bits painted the same as the wheels an a nice set of 90mm rear springs

then in the last 2 weeks i had my spare wheel wel taken out and lawrence and the boys did me proud with an uber tidy centre exit exhaust (sorry about the dirt exhaust)

all in the last 4 months

Love your car John. Liked your old green one, but this one is awesome. Not technically quite as Euro as you originally planned though is it?

Any further plans for it?

cheers jambo, yeah we cudnt cut it any further into the bumper as the metal chasis was behind it, an didnt want the rear of the car to loose any strength

my mate removed the wel as he works in a bodyshop, was a fun day making sure my interior didnt go on fire whilst he was welding

yeah tigra scuttle panel was already on it when i go it but colour coding it has just given it that clean edge

na not goin euro on this one rich just low as fuck an tidy the other one was all about the colour and the kit, this one is clean as a whistle inside and one 2 tiny dots of rust about the size of a 5p piece but they should be getting buzzed down an sorted out soon

got a few plans but stayin in my head for now, not much bodywork wise love the look of it at the moment as it is

u know that thick material old people put on dining tables to stop hot things markin the table its that stuf, its heat resistant so when your exhaust hits it, it wont hap potential to go on fire

iv always used in on both my corsas wen they were knockin the old corsa exhaust used to rest on the axle on the 17s so every few months id have to turn it round cos it would burn thro but it was no hardship

mines currenlty knocking, was all fone until i had a new exhasut system fitted by National, now they cant get enough clearence over the rear beam, so when i have 1 other person in the car i get a horrible noise.
