I know there are a couple of threads ongoing about FM07 but lets keep this one to just players. Try if possible to name club and player and price u signed him for. May help other people on the game.

Also Shane Supple is a bargain, Ipswich GK, can be had for about £100k, maybe less if your lucky, only 19 too.

I'll do a big list tonight. I tend to buy the good young english talent where as my mate knows everyting about the foreign young talent so ill get some good ones up later.

Gareth bale is proper good.
David Vaughan from crewe is a good buy, AMLC.
Lupoli FC from Arsenal,
I got a really good young goalkeeper from Man Utd Ben Amos, he looks like he will be ace.

I always scout the continent for young talent under £500k. Usually get some good ones in the reserves at the bigger clubs like Bayern Munich.

It's all about Crewe players Vaughan and Jones are good buys for the team, although i gave Vaughan his debut for Arsenal (had a lot of injuries) and he was sent off after 27mins...

Erm..

Also picked Chris sutton up on a free, good player in championship it would appear. Halford for 800k is also a cracking buy. My team is looking quite strong now, but could do with a high quality midfield loan signing

Some good young players there but Roman wouldn't be happy with me buying them for Chelsea Only wants world class signings..Will keep them in mind for other game

Mav, David Villa is shit hot and is release claus is so low. Xavi from barca has a 20m release claus deffo worth a look for the top teams.

Find someone u think looks good, go to scout report and ask for report card. Pick a scout wih good CA + PA judgement marks and he'll report back. Will tell you if its worthwhile and will compare to players already in your squad. Thats what i do anyway.

I cant get scout reports as I can only scout locally. Just look at their ratings, then their average rating, if its any good then give them a go. I just literally look at every team worldwide. When UEFA cups on click on a team then at the bottom click the arrow next to the team name and it lists all the teams in their league/div. Takes a while but well worth it.

Just signed Martin Andresen on a free from Brann in Jan.

Im Colchester, 2nd season in Championship. After 33 games im 2nd, 4pts behind Middlesbrough. Only conceeded 20 all season

cheers for the advice, getting more used to fm07 now. its alot more complex than it used to be a few years ago on the ps1/2
