On the way to Coventry yesterday and was having a play with a few cars and between 50 and 110 i was leaving this guy for dead every time.Not that i was killing it but i was clearly pulling away at a decent margin

6th gear in my car is fuking awsome!

Nope was an 06 ans he was definately trying! Gave me a knowing nod

He's only got 30 extra ponds of Torque over me but nearly 150 extra BHP

Been told when VRS's are run in they have more power than standard figs.

I remember Clarkson slating them when they first came out.

Strange.

Went past a nice black CTR too as it happens!

the 06 350Z has a power increase over earlier cars, dont have any figures for it though.

Must not have been trying but he sure as hell made it look like he was.You can't honestly know how quick my car is though when in 5th and 6th.I've owned 2 WRX's FFS and they were fast in the same region but the VRS is in a different league.

Apert from the shit i had with the dealer about the remap issue....

Hell yeah

Like most cars it has things that can be improved on but overall yep

Drove for 5 hours yesterday and loved every minute of it.The scooby would have needed filling up twice and would have given me a headache(or blown up).

My scooby never scared me with it's pace but the VRS has at least 3 times now the way the torque throws you down the road.

Has your VRS been remapped?

To be honest mate i'm not sure yet.

Had a big issue with it but have yet to have it checked out properley.It was meant to have been switched back off when sold to me.

It would explain a lot though! The MPG isn't as good as it could be so maybe

My mate's Dad has a vRS. Him and his Dad dont stop raving on about it andhow well it goes for what it is.

They have had it from new and its coming up to 3 years old now so wanting to get a new car. But they cant find anything that they like to replace it so are going to get another

they love it.
