I paid 215 for my 60mm apex kit, horrible to drive every day. I hear the g-max, etc are in the same catagory.

BILSTEIN

without a doubt mate. find a sprintline kit for around £330.

best fixed rate kit there is, I have tried and fitted about everything there is and these are miles ahead of all others, in a different league.

Billy Yellows (Sprintline???). Only a -25mm drop, but V-tuning Dave raved about them all the time, so i went for them. About £400

DON'T go for the Billy blacks as they are basically the same shox but with lowered springs. About £200.

As far is aware, nowt comes close. Donnas old avo's were ROCK solid. Don't like the Spax kits either, too flimsy for me.

Doh, sorry, that should say..

DON'T go for the billy blacks, as they are basically the same as standard shox items, but come with lowered springs.

TBH, i've NEVER heard a bad word about them, thats why i went for them. I'd consider a high quality non adjustable kti like that over some budget coilovers.

withe the bilsteins you can also get different inserts and springs from bilstein, it can be upgraded to tarmac rally spec for not a lot of money.
