Beter off spending a few million IMO, because even with Rossi back and Smith fit you don't have many goals on the bench. Smith has lost it imo, and Rossi is still a kid.

You also get Rossi back from us in Jan who is surely a better option than Larrson, albeit he does seem a tad lightweight for the Premier League

Larsson is better than Saha, Rossi and Smith even at 35, champions league final is a case in point. He hasn't lost a yard of pace and even if he had he plays with his head so that wouldn't be a problem.

Living legend, absolute god at Parkhead and still the greatest player I have seen in the flesh.

Major coup if they pull it off imo

just confirmed on sky sports news, everyone would say he was only good because it was the scottish league (no offence) but he has proved it in spain and the worldcup that he can perform.

why is everyone so astounded? Barcelona were desperate to keep him but he wanted to go home for his wife and kids sake. They also wanted him back in recent months and Ronaldinho released a public statement saying he would love him back as he taught him so much.

He will score goals in the premiership for fun, even if he is only used spraingly

He did, but how many times has he been played out of that position. I can't wait until he's fully fit and playing properly. He did well for Leeds, i hope he can do the came for us.

Yeah don't get me wrong he played in Midfield last season and broke his leg. I want him to do well but it's gonna take ages.

I agree. He doesn't seem to have the snap he had at Leeds.

He did alright against Arsenal in the champs league final did he not? where was Etoo, Ronaldinho and Henry that night?

He is far more than a 'decent' player, he won't play every game but he will score goals i guarantee it, there's nothing to suggest otherwise.

my thoughts really. Glad they are doing this that going out and buying someone young and on fire ATM. He will provide some cover and rotating options though which they'll need some the second half of the season.

They just need a few midfielders now

Ok I can see this being a good move but looking ahead he won't be with us for the Chelsea game or the Champions league final should we reach it. Anyone know why he hasn't just signed until the end of the season

Thats right. Were signing him in the transfer window on January 1st, then he plays for 3 months then goes back to Sweden to start the season there.

Gives him something to do i suppose
