forgot to post this last night
was reading a copy of retro cars last night. had an article on the c20xe saying easiest way to 200bhp n/a blah blah blah
anyway, turns the page and there is a 20xe block, coscast stamped, looks different to all 20xe blocks ive seen, and ive never ever seen a coscast block. so, i did a bit of searching on the net, and found nothing.
the copy of retro cars has pics of the engine, coscast block with head, tb's etc all on it.

isnt coscast the type of casting. its doing without using oxygen so that it doesnt get air bubbles trapped in the casting so that it doesnt go purous #?

No, it's the name of the company that makes the heads and blocks. They are cast in sand.

no the heads are desingd by cossworth thats why they have cosscast stamped on them. they are better then the standard heads, they have a squared off sectin on the head and other differences. and dont go porous well as easly. they come on early redtop lets
