Derby are supposedly leading the race to ign Varney from Crewe £750k apparently.

So that'll be crewe DEFINITELY staying down (although to be fair we are 16th )for at least another season then.

We got stuffed against forest so not suprisingly i'd say he had a bad game

He's tall, pretty strong, good with his feet, and seems to have an eye for goal at the moment, so who knows. tbh, 750k is a decent price for him, and it's what crewe do best so we'll see.

Derby are gonna have a fair bit to spend when they lose their wonderkid next month anyway. £3m supposedly

Did also see that Craig Fagan from Hull is being linked with them for 750 as well
