Went to Edinburgh today to see this, and done a deal on it. I wanted something a bit differant, but that was still recognizable car. And found this 1.8 16v VW Corrado running 160bhp with proof. High mileage though which was the only bad point about it. Should pick it up next Tuesday or wednesday after sxi_tim picks up the corsa.

Plans just now are refurb the wheels in black with a polished lip, coilovers and a VR6 front splitter. Maybe a supercharged vr6 lump at end of the year.

Opinions on this??

Corrados are very nice, i saw one the other day outside a garage and it looks lush, it had smoked front headlights and the red and white crystal rear lights.

That is gorgeous mate!!! I love Corrado's.

Fit a 20v Turbo lump

Theres a Tuning place near us called STEALTH RACING that specialise in VAG cars. They have a 400bhp 20v Turbo Corrado that i've been out for a spin in. As you can imagine its rather . Its forsale at the mo.... 10k just got to find me another £9990

They offer a Turbo conversion for your engine should you feel the need for some boost

If its been serviced at the right times and has been treated ok 140,000 will be nothing to those engines mate

140k miles is still 'running-in time' on VWs.

Heres some new pics now its in my hands

Got some plans for it now. Going to get the car painted with the leftover money from the corsa. Also smooth the bumpers. Then a set of coilovers. Not to sure if i want to keep the wheels and get them refurbed or change them.
Also wanting to change the interior to the vr6 leather one, so trying to source one now.

awesome looking car.
the wheels are Stil Auto Sigma's. I used to love them in the days when Revs had just started, and seeing them again has reminded me why. they look spot on.
