I brought robins's old corsa sport shell last year and i thought i would put a proiject post up so everyone can see it coming together.
Here it is when i got it home:
Started work on it today, removed the front wings and both the wiring looms and started to remove pieces i dont need:
I was thinking about fitting a C16XE from my corsa gsi but i decided to fit something with a bit more go:
I got a fitting kit off Chris Astley and fitted the engine the other day, it is a late spec xe with a coil pack which is just what i wanted as i dont want a dizzy.
Brought a corsa sport interior off Steve b on here so i have spent today refitting the rear seat brackets and undersealing the front arches:
I also brought some new lights off Rob Hayes on here:
Tomorrow i am aiming to finish putting the wiring loom back inside the car and get the dash in. Just using a grey gsi dash for now untill i can get a flocked one.

Will be good to see it back in one piece Rick. I regret selling it, but at least it's gone to someone who's actually doing something with it.
First time I've seen behind the wings

Just taken the bumper and the arches down to the bodyshop. They are going to paint them and sort out a few scratches that were on the front corner of the bumper.
Trying to sort out some Roose sport hose's but no one seems to know which plastic pipe setup they are designed for.
