I love my old phone, it just works. Its been my trusty handset for many years.

Then today, I dropped it in a dog water bowl.



Firstly no keypad, then the display stopped working. Its currently undergoing a gentle heating with the battery and sim card out.

I hope I don't have to upgrade to one of these modern things. I'll be lost

I've done this before, with a Sony Ericsson. It never worked again, the water destroyed it

I dropped my old 5110 in a pint. Like yours the screen just faded away

I let mine dry out for a few days and it worked fine again, although the keys were sticky.

o2 will be releasing their own version of this within the next few months. Under going testing at the moment. One of if not THE best ever selling buisness phone in the UK.

o2's one should be very good.

I dropped mine in the sea; it's never vibrated since, but other than that it's still fine. I use it as my backup phone now.

Nokia E50 is the upgraded 6310i... I have 1 as my work 'phone and it is brilliant!!

If you get it on a Vodafone contract (free) there is £25 in it for you!!

Like I say, Nokia E50 IS the upgraded 6310i (even looks similar) and is out now

E50 is nothing in comparison with battery life, 2days a compared to 2weeks
