I turned 17 in September, so I bought the car a few months in advance from Sabas SRi on here! Here are a few pics from him before I bought it.

First thing I did was give it a clean!

First thing's first, rid the mesh! Got a real grille, new plates and removed the petrol cap sticker:

Eyebrows then left.

Then I removed the sunstrip, and painted the calipers and rear drums a subtle silver instead of the red. It sat like this for a couple of months! Come October I'd saved enough to get the whole thing colour coded and a GSi bumper fitted. Got the mirrors done, roof rails, door handles, petrol cap, boot look surround, arches, both bumpers, etc. Got it back and was so pleased with it!

Sourced some Sport seats and fitted those!

Came across some cheap Cavvy GSi wheels in fairly good condition! The only bad points were the huge tyres they came with!

It's rocking a set of 45s now, and was slammed to -60mm so sitting real nice on these wheels! ( Also note the coloured rear lights, one light coat of Satin Red and some lacquer )

I then bought an Irmscher spoiler from Germany and had that sprayed up and fitted!

Still to come are the Anthracite wheels, and clear smoked headlights. Thinking of getting a new backbox as well, nice twin Irmy one or something.

Definitely mate, can't wait!

I paid £500 for literally everything, and they did such a superb job! They even re-painted the GSi grille in a matt black for me.

Didn't know a 12v could look so good - the front looks ace with the GSi bumper, need something on the rear bumper.

Love it with the Cav rims.

Cheers everyone.

Spoiler was £90 delivered from eBay mate.

The wheels were fairly cheap, around £70 I think! I bought them as just a cheap ( but good looking IMO ) alternative for now until I can afford some real decent ones.

Cheers Stavs

eBay yepp, £70.

Dave I have -60mm GMAX Nova springs on the back, and Jamex 60mm on the front (IIRC), ride's a little harsh but worth it.

Nice progress on the car mate - really like this now and I usually hate 5 doors and not usually a fan of the colour either

Will be good to see it with the spoiler too.

Think smoked DEPO's would look good on the front of that too

Thanks,

Spoilers on now, should get some pics of that this weekend. I've wanted to get the clear smoked lights for a while, was talking about this today actually! Might get a set in the future.

Looks mint now Dom!

Get rims done in anthra or black, semi-smooth boot, and smoked headlights and that will look spot on!

Good work mate!
