after the car spitting its dummy at knockhill back late last year i finally got a chance to have a look at it today.

Compression -

- No 1- 150psi, low but pressure
- No 2- no pressure
- No 3- 150psi, low but pressure
- No 4- 150psi, low but pressure

so something up with cly2.

Stripped the crankcase off to see if anything was obvious with the lifter. Nope.

Stripped the heeeed off - to find this lovely bit of work.

the head is fuck nuckled - about 400 quid down the pan. Worked COSCAT

The valve faces appear OK, but i'll strip the head, or that cly at least tomorrow or soon.

I'm trying to think what could have caused it. It looks a bit too mangled, or not holed (i.e extra metal). The car was actually running filter. No electrodes are missing.

Decision time with the engine.

Wallace still owe me money, and all the receipts for the last work. And to be honest i'd rather not put it back there just for the simple hassle they have caused me over a few years now.

I just sold my spare engine too

MAY pop another std engine in and pap the TB's on that, OR just bin it all. The engine has lost a lot of value or re-sale value with this latest prob.

Head and pistons are worthles, block doesnt look scored but i wouldnt buy it if i'd see the piston damage
