Signs for West Ham.

Im not too bothered as is likely to give a penalty a game away! But to go to a club that is going to go down is stupid, regardless of the money, he'd of been better staying at Blackburn.

I hope they paid a ridiculous price for him, give him massive wages (meant to be around 50k a wk) and then go down, slash his wages and dont sell him

as said above Im not particularly bothered as I really dont think he would of played too much, and would of only been cover.

BUT its another player just moving for money. He has left a club he was capt at and loved by the fans which is going to stay up, to join a club who is likely to go down.

yes its harsh, but players moving somewhere just for money when they are already on a great wage annoys me. Both Blackburn and Liverpool are better clubs than West Ham ATM and dont have a chance of going down like WHU.

yeah, it would of been a good signing for the squad as we have little cover for Finnan. But he was never going to be a first team player, and TBH hopefully means we'll push on and sign someone like Alves or Richards in the summer.

Maybe. That or those 2 potential signing might decide to go to a better club like West Ham/Everton.

Spoke to him then? How the fuck do you know it's for the money?

WHU if they get their act together could easily challenge Blackburn.

They won't go down either IMO.

I know Liverpool werent offering more than 35k a week, I know Blackburn (where he is capt and loved) only offered around 40k a week and I know WHU have offered a lot more than that. I also know WHU are currently in a relagation spot and will be battling to stay up and not anywhere near targetting a european place which he could of joined a club aiming for that.

So if it wasnt for money what was it?!
