Try wrapping it in a towel.

Apparently this works for a few hours at a time

Got it in August, if that helps distinguish the type.

A UPS person is coming to collect it within 3 days. My HD will be blanked too, I asked if I could keep it but they won't fix it if I do that

So i'll use some Memory Sticks to save as much data as possible.

i had to send mine away over Xmas, they said they would send a box but they didnt have to supply your own took them three weeks to get it back to me from when they collected it IIRC take your face plate off i got a free one when they sent it back

It's for troubleshooting purposes.

Certain combinations of lights point to certain things that have went wrong.
