Hello!

Has any one got a pic of a corsa B model's sterio bay thingy similar to this? (i know this one's a corsa C - just need to see the cable loom thing at the back)

ah...bugger i bought the SD100 for my kenwood cd player to link into the display...but the cable i've go wont fit (the top on on that pic above). I rang the kenwood place and they say its right but it quite clearly isnt

For the MFD? I think thats the bigger plug at the top. It should fit if its a vauxhall fitment.

yeah it is...and yeah, it should do but i just doesnt :s.

If you look at the top plug, its got a latch on the side which is in the middle... this cable i have has it on the bottom instead so it doesnt fit I just need to find one that fits but having no luck at the mo

my sisters corsa c is like that they supplied her with a seperate loom for it to be connected properly the notch on the back of her vx unit was different from the notch on the plug

also when i had a look the wires went to different pins aswell

All Corsa B's and Astra G's have the 10 pin plug if originally fitted with a CDR style radio.

The plug looks like the one on the right:

whats the chances of getting one to fit my corsa C? i'm going to try Kenwood spare parts on Monday i think...but anywhere else i could try?

It wasnt till this post I actually realised he had a Corsa C as he was asking for a pic of a Corsa B loom (look of the title of the thread), never said why tho!

The plug in your hand is the right one for the corsa b

please be aware the the display interface may not work on the corsa b's 8 digit display and if it does it only does the basics as the interfaces are designed for the 10 digit displays what are in the likes of the corsa c and astra G

I have spent many hours researching the tid/mfd and audio controls i know for a fact that the alpine display interface works with the corsa b as i have one in mine and i will soon have the audo controls after i figure out how to mount the contactor unit behind the steering wheel

Ahhh...so if i manage to get the right plug for my corsa C - it should all work fine then?

Corsa C plugs are the same up until 2004 as far as im aware, any CDR units?

In a word yes

heres the the plug the corsa b has (and wiring info) (some of the early corsa up to 03 also had this plug)

edit. also thay some corsas upto 03 come with the plug in the first pic after 03 thay went to the multiplex wiring and went to a non iso plug

mine came with a factory fitted tape/radio player

Think its the club model? 1.2 16v, 2 door... erm... 52 plate so thats 2002 innit?
