i just replaced my spax 60mm rear springs with the adjustable rear fk ones.........i also took out the lower adjuster coil (keeping the cup) but they dont look any lower than the spax

but surely, being 80 -100mm lowering springs they should be....

my arches sit covering the top half of my tyre

are they usable without the spring cups/ adjuster rings?

yes, but they will fall out when jacked up.

yeah just take them off, but zip tie the spring to the beam just incase. Try it anyway.

try GAZ (not the chopper off of here) this is my old one. they'd go about 40mm lower but the wheel touched the top of the inner arch!

This is my old car with the FK's wound up as high as they would go at the back


They could have gone down quite a bit more, but I had a big stereo to go in the boot so I kept it higher to stop it scrubbing. They are 17's though so dont know if it helps.

my old corsa,no interior in, with fk's on, with spring cup still in place


if i removed the cup wheel rubbed inner arch

I took my spring seat out they dont fall out when jacked up either. Been like it for months and thier fine. Same as VegasPhil
