Well it all started just about a year from now, spotted a thread here on CS with some members discussing a good Ebay find a 1.6 R Reg Sport with 31K on the clocks with OAP drivers. Had recently sold my old Corsa and decided it was defo the one for me, so after a little travailing I got her home

Always loved speedlines so it was the first thing on my list to buy, and the plan was always to get them powder coated white so they went straight in to get done !

They sat in the house for a week then I couldn’t resist to fit them... 4x4

Started spending the old Corsa money like wild fire ! FK silverlines and Sebring Goodies

Got the goodies fitted the same week... changed the feel of the car totally but in a good way

I had some bucket seats that I was planning to put into my old Corsa but it never happened so I bought myself a MPS Performance cage and the buckets were to get fitted when the cage finally came, got some 4 points a few week later to.

After that I started to buy small things that made improvements

The plate C5RSA had been bumped in the classifieds so much and each time was a tease !! so I gave in and bought the plate

Well after all that I started to lose interest and put her up for sale to get myself a Subaru, everything was sorted had the perfect buyer and Subaru lined up to go... then after a few arguments the wife decides to tell me her worries... so instead of a constant head nip I called the sale off (under the thumb??...aye)

So it brings us up today and here is what’s now going on !! on the 18th of this month she will be going into the spray shop for a full re-spray in the same colour just to bring the paint work back to new, a semi smooth and a airdam to be fitted

During the past months I have been buying engine and other mods by the dozen !

So that us right up to date, more things are on the way in the post and my re-spray is a week on Sunday so its all go !

Looks great the new bumper will make a big difference, the white alloys also go really well with the car!

cheers fellas

would say the paint work is good for its age, but that is the problem the paint its showing wear, comes up really good after a polish ect... a fresh paint job will do the job to make it perfect
