Car insurance due tomorrow...Had decided to go with Elephant good price and terms all mods declared...

Just been on the phone to them and THEY WILL NOT INSURE US due to the pending injury claims against the DRUNK DRIVER that hit us head on 18 months ago..

SO a drunk driver hits us head on, we never claimed out of our insurance...Direct line his insurance company paid out for car and a nominal injuries to me and my son..

Wifes claim is still pending..

It's fucking shocking that we are getting hammered and refused insurance due to a FUCKING DRUNK DRIVER HITTING US HEAD on...

Plus it goes back to what I have always posted

Regardless of fault a claim is a claim now on your insurance

Granted you will not get penalised as much as it wasn't your fault but it will still go against

feel for you mav

Getting punished though for doing nothing wrong...

I've always thought that aswell. They say if you are not at fault that your insurance wont be affected but in that case why do they want to know if you have had any claims regardless of fault.

I Know mav its not right

Its because idiots claim for the slightest injury so insurance have had to take action

I hit someone at less than 5 miles an hour and they claimed for everything personal injury wise the cunts

I thought you meant just turned down then! I never knew till recently either that even when not at fault you lose your NCB, hence the name!

Same happened to me when someone hit me up the ass in my corsa, chief

They wouldn't insure me because I had an outstanding claim against the other driver. Daft to say the least

This happened to a guy i know, He has a disabled son who needs a frame to help him walk, and his cunt of a neighbour decided to try and claim that he had run his poeple carrier into his car when it was parked up. He had to pay about 400 quid for to renew his insurance because of the pending claim even though it was just a malicious neighbour being a dick.

Try Brentacre Mav, they are sound to talk to, know what they are on about, so you will be able to explain the situation before doing a quote so it won't be a waste of time.

If you don't claim your insurance you can't lose your ncb.

If the other guys insurance is covering it I wouldn't even tell my own.

I am going to renew with Adrian Flux, can't be arsed..Theres is a really good price too so just going to stay with them...

Some other pllaces were not bothered about no fault pending claims etc....But none else could beat Flux's price..

Try www.ecarinsurance.co.uk Mav, you can fill in all the details of your mods online and it calculates for them. It's by far the cheapest company I have found, I'm currently with Adrian Flux and the only reason I haven't changed is because they offered to match the price I got off ecarinsurance.
