Just put Vista on my laptop other day, And now, it wont stream video properly, keeps stopping. Its the same on Youtube and google video, so its definatly me and not the site.

Its quite good, apart from that, manages your files differently too, whice is annoying

Probabaly is the sites, they tend to get bogged down at times. Ive had it for a few months on some of them, youtube certainly.

And its not a fully supported OS, and most drivers are Beta drivers. dont expect a fully operational, whistle clean OS so early on.

being able to hold ctrl and use the scroll wheel to make icons bigger and smaller lol

When I was laptop shopping in PC World yesterday I had a play on a Toshiba with Vista Premium (?) on it, I think I'd rather stick with XP. Is this wrong?

i like vista just because it looks better really been running it for a couple of months now and havent had much problems other than with nero and most games... but then i am still on RC2!

Vista is actually a fully rewritten OS based on Server 2003
also its interface is no longer drawn in 2d, it uses directx, full 3d.
it really is nothing like XP
