right then here is a question for u

need to sell jagcorsa in next few months just wondering wot to do with it and wot you guys think.......... baring in mind the main factors are time taken to do it and then making it easyiest to sell on after:-

choices are:-

***sell car as it is now with no mot etc, EASY OPTION BUT HARD TO SELL

***get car moted and then sell as it is, with not grear bodywork etc

*** or mot the car and then re spray it to give it totally new look espeically with the new wheels its got but the colour will need to match the inside of the car cos dont wanna start changing this,

sooooo wot do u think?? also how much money do u think i will get for the car???

here are pics of the car:-

I had mot for the car when i first completed it, there it nothing stopping the car from being put on the road, i think it will prob be one of biggest regreats not putting it on the road to get all the looks it will get

its really orange peely, well fairly

one crack in bumper, one in skirt, and one in the bits on the passenger door

part from that its fine, so its not bad really!

i just thought basically with a new paint job and the new wheels which no one as actually seen in flesh cos not made it to a show it will be fresh for new show season and maybe another feature for someone

Defiinately going to be a hard one to sell but I cant see any other way when you have some other nice cars to spend money on (VX220T)

I would prolly avoid spending more money on it as its dead cash whether your doing the work yourself or not....maybe at a push an MOT and atx for say 6 months and then Ebay it?

Someone out there may want it...might just suprise you?

MOT will make it easier to sell, might cost you a few quid but I'd say do it as you'll see that money back

Respraying is only going to cost you paint, I say change the colour to make it "new"

A "new" car is going to sell for more than an old show car

sell it but offer the option of a respray in whatever colour the buyer wants, or no respray at all.

Atleast then you wont be putting people off with one certain colour if you just picked it yourself.

Just learn from other peoples mistakes....look at Jackos for example he modified the shell beyound belief with numerous paint jobs and ended up breaking the car off as he knew damn well he would never be able to sell it complete.

Throwing some paint over "an old show car" is never going to sell it if its this extensively modified IMO

Take note this is not putting the car down in any shape or form but just a bit a realistic advice.

Needs to be blue or silver, so it goes with the interior. (or black)

I think it's going to be hard to sell with that engine in to be honest. Lots of young lads will want it, but not be able to insure it.

Lob the 1.4 from the Tigra in, and put the 2 litre in the Tigra

Maybe MOT it, sort out the bodywork but on a budget, then advertise it at a few shows this coming season.
