Well, i sold my saxo 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Not a good day for me, was hard to see her go.
Here's a pic:
Best first car i could have had, and i'll miss her forever..
Anyway, onwards and Upwards.
Onto the Corsa
The day after i sold the Saxo, I picked up my new 1.6 16v Corsa Sport. 60k, full service history, air con, all the toys. The added bonus was it only cost me what i got for the Saxo.
Here it is looking totally Gay in standard form:
I've allways liked the look of modified Corsas, that's why i chose one, and it's a hell of a lot quicker than my saxo, infact, it shows a Vtr who's boss too, which is cool.
First up was my Remus centre section, coupled with a Janspeed Backbox. Felt like it freed up a little extra poke, who knows.. but i love how it looks, and sounds:
Next was my long awaited Coilovers. Opted for the Spax RSX adjustable ride hight and damping. Here they are fitted:
As you can see, my clearance issue is scary..anic: :
Then earlier this week i brought a set of Cavalier SRI wheels for it, and tried them on for size. I'm getting a set of 45's tomorrow, as these are 50's and are getting a litte low:
Also Got a free de-badged gril off a mate, who kindly swapped wheels for a few days.. Here are the results:
Wheel whore???
Anyway, that's where she's upto as of now. I'll put a few pics an details of anything i do to it, for anyone who cares.

Does it??? Surely the Saxo would out handle a corsa sport and the power difference iirc between the Corsa Sport 1.6 16v (106BHP) and a Paxo VTR 1.6 8v(103BHP?) is hardly noticable when the saxo will weigh less.

Only the late model saxo's (01 onwards) had the 98 bhp engine, all saxo's before that had the 90 bhp engine... Hey, maybe he couldn't drive?

I hate aftermarket alloys with a passion. Hence the Vts wheels on my old Saxo.
Some rarer Aftermarket wheels i like, but i hate most. That's why i have standard vauxhall wheels, it's just what i like

I don't really know where i'm taking it at the moment.
I do want a Gsi kit, but i also want tobe abit different, but i can't be different without going down the non-OEM route, which i'm not doing.
I want a Dbilas inlet for sure, but not sure what else i want to do.

After getting my wheels wrapped in some new Yoko 45's, and a motorway spray Jet wash, here are a few pics. Taken at 2:30 am may i add..
These two were taken at about 3:15 am.. haha, Southend is a late cruise..
I took one two days ago, this one was at a resectable 20 PM though :y:
Let me know what you think. I'm personally falling in love with it more and more as the days go by.

That's at a place called pitsy apparently.
I'm from Cambridge, but was at southend for the night, then we went to this place.
It's under a flyover, with a few parking spaces.

You're not wrong. I had to start improving it straight away.
The handling is a pure joke standard..
