Hard to say but you always see bits of genius from him like that, like he did a little looped pass to kuyt recently which didn't work out but he's got great vision.

could be either, hard to tell IMO. Only he probably knows if he really meant to do it or not, but he does have it in him so not like he doesnt have the skill to do anything like that.

He wouldn't lie either, one of the fellas in work was speaking to him coming out of his flat in town (LFC's travel/accomodation girl lives below my mates apparantly) the day after he scored what he described as a flukey goal against bolton

second one wasnt a dive.
First one was dubious, he certainly played for it. But TBH the defender is stupid as Gerrard basically told him and the ref what he was going to do if the defender put his arms out and he did do.

i agree, defender was stupid to continue to put his arm out. but gerrard did put him arm round the defenders neck and pulled em both down. looked good in real time tho.

I agree he played for it, and I have seen them both given and not in the past. But if the defender is going to be stupid enough to keep trying to block him right infront of the ref when Gerrard has already said what he will do then he deserves a pen gainst him for stupidity.
