Bloody cars do my head in!

Got to go shopping for car bits this week!

Need...

Service
Suspension
Throttle Cable
Clutch
Wheels
Alarm
Brakes
Exhaust
Front Lights

The list goes on!!! Luckily i get paid on wednesday so it can get sorted!!

I'm just in a really foul mood as i spent this morning getting soaked changing my gearbox oil now the clutch has decided to start to slip!

Anyone get really sick of their cars?

Well i need a new clutch, it needs a service, it needs new suspension, it needs a proper throttle cable, it needs new tyres but i'd prefer to get cyclones, it has no alarm atm and where i work it needs one, it will need new pads, the exhaust needs sorting plus i'm not keen on the back box and quite fancy a group b one, and the stupid front projector lights on it that are fucking useless in the dark need to be changed!!!

So i think it's more need than want!!

Please can you define "proper throttle cable." A throttle cable is a throttle cable is it not
And why does it need new suspension.
As for new tyres, you should stop racing 1.4 nova's at the ace

front shocks have gone, so i put that down to the SHIT roads where i live plus the stupidly low profile tyres hence me wanting some 15" cyclones to allow a slightly more comfortable profile tyre!! Plus i want some adjustables!

Will be a busy boy next weekend fitting it all! Still need to source some cyclones.

That was false advertising!!

Well my throttle cable snapped, needed the car gthe next day, local motor factors never had a 106 cable, so got a universal one, which was useless and ended up using a cable from my pushbike!!!

And in the little pugs defence that night at ace my throttle was only on about 2/3 open due to the cable!! But was a silly quick nova.

it will never happen!!! i'm just doooomed to public transport!!!

Hopefully after spending ££££ on the thing this week i will be happy!

My dad just made me really happy by saying your clutch probably just needs adjusting, he was flicking through my haynes manual and was like "oh it's easy, go n get my tool box and a ruler" I read the first paragraph that says later model 106's have self adjusting clutches. Then my dad said "oh well your clutch is fucked then!", i nearly hit him!!

It was quick but no matter what, a 1.6 pug 106 will NOT keep up with a decent xe'd nova. bet 2/3 was enough to get it to full power anyway
