Quite simple, would be lovely if we all had a nice trip to Alton Towers, this thread is for interest only. A quick run down:
- Trip to Alton Towers
- On a week day
- Date will be organised in the next 2 months or so
- Will take advantage of any discounts if possible
- Day visit only
- Not limited to CS members or SE Region
- Possible Convoy?
Nice excuse to take a day off work and enjoy ourselfs, put your name down if you are interested and watch this space.

Alton Towers is one mission of a drive there and back in 1 day, especially as we'd be there for aslong as possible as well. Would Thorpe Park be a more sensible idea?

Done it once all in one day and was a bit of a mish, you can do 130 on the way back so should only take you a couple hours

Thorpe Park would be more sensible if we were 12, but I guess you like that sort of thing Rich
I think Alton towers is grand idea, we'll have to leave early to get a full day in, places like Thrope Park, chessington etc are all too local and borring!
Plus I really really want to go to Alton towers

There is a current Internet price of £24 per adult, no information on groups at the moment because the page doesnt work. Going to prod my mums fella about how he manages day trips up there as hes been there plenty of times in the last year or so with his daughter.
£24 sounds pretty decent so far, will probably do more in petrol

I'm waiting on a few internal things before I start looking at dates, but it will be in the next few months, and probably on a Friday.

Definately do more in petrol, corsa used just over a full tank there and back last time giving it moderate death
