back to rollers today...last time i had a spoon 4-2 manifold, made 205bhp, since then, have added...

spoon 2-1 downpipe
decat
spoon b pipe (middle section)
spoon n1 back box
spoon panel filter
spoon ecu

the spoon ecu added 1bhp, ran them back to back smoother power curve but they're nearly £700 new

i didnt buy all the stuff new by the way, fuck paying £2k for 3bhp

ah well, supercharger soon

will post a vid of it on the rollers once its uploaded, sounds niiiice.

Did the Spoon ECU prove to be better at any other point the rev range other than peak bhp?

nope, they layed the 2 graphs with stock and spoon ecu over each other on the monitor and the graphs are nearly identical, except of course that the spoon ecu vtec comes in earlier, and the peak power has moved from 8400rpm to 8800rpm.

dave - graphs later, on laptop, no scanner.

the graph shows 208ps, maha software issue, its 208bhp (honest guv).

Why not look for a set of Jenvey throttle bodies? Also, why did you bother with the Spoon ECU? I spoke to Spoon Europe, who said that it has to be sent back to Japan to be mapped, which is no good
IMO, you should have gone with the PowerFC
