Well tbh it made jus abit more than i actually thought, which was good 

Lamba sensor he says wasn't opening for ages, so need to order myself one ... But i jus thought id show u my results

Nice, whats the engine spec?
Did he just give it a power run, or did he play with it?
And how much did it cost?

I had a full remap for the unichip, that alone *Setting up + Power run = £235
And fitting the chip came to about £130... ill find the receipt

Not sure, there is some way of working it out by power at the fly. I think you would have lost around 25bhp through transmission, but would be interesting to gt an accurate figure.

He said it was responding really well with my dbilas inlet, also that the remap he did he got about another 7-8bhp ...
So all in all im v.happy

he has got an accurate figure! a fly wheel figure takes into account all the variables that can effect the wheel figure.

it made pretty geunine power there tho, whats the point?
end of the day the cars been mapped ot suit the mods, there are no holes in the curves, should be nice to drive

Yeah power seems consistant with the mods and the graph is very smooth no big dips throughout.

seems spot on for the mods and the Nobles RR is a good one that has proven to be accurate for years.

Lovley graph, no flat spots low down..
Although Torques a little low, you should be up in the 115-120lb ft region.
Did he say anything about removing the cone and adding an airbox and panel filter?
Dave A, haven't you got a RR? Mabye something can test with someoens corsa with aftermarket inlet manifold, airbox Vs Ind kit...

brosters rev to 9k for months and months or abuse , i would be quite happy to run it at 7k rev limit, although yes, given the chance, some arp's are allways worthwhile

Is it worth the blow up for a few hours work and a few ££?
All that could happen should it let go. Always worth replacing them, especially on engines that have done a few miles now

Daimo, mine revved to 7200 for fucking ages with no ARPs.
The standard bolts are good for about 8000rpm, or a constant 7500, 7k won't bother them at all.

Thats fine, its your money and your engine, you take that chance. 
For the sake of £60 odd, i'd go the safer, but its not my money or my car, so 
Frankly, i've never ever seen an engine respond to things exactly the same, so why theres probably a few that can rev to 9k happily, some others will let go at 6500rpm...

I have a 1.4 16v.... mine is"supposed" to run to 6150 / 6200 maybe?
With Light engine mods // filters etc... It does go to 6500... But screaming 
What would you say is a confortable limit for a 1.4 ecotec + 1.6 GSI engine to run at?

The rev limit on your 1.4 16v is 6200 
It should be at least 6500, if not 6750.
Mine was comfortable at 7200, RobHayes had a Z16XE running at 7800 on standard everything.

torque seems fine for the mods, very few see 120lb/ft. I have a new Dyno Dynamics RR on the way mate, have been waiting 10 weeks for it now will be fully installed and running by the end of this

D5 saw 117lb ft. (watches the haters start )
Cool, someone specific to do some proper testing. Manztel swore by using the panel filter, and i'll confirm it as D5 used a cone and it coughed and splutted at full throttle below 3000rpm like a 60 a day smoker. The airbox stopped it.
Wondered if the same applies to the other inlet manifold (which lets face it, bar the lexmaul, are practically the same thing).
