Thinking of doing so albeit for a short time - possible a couple of weeks. In contact with a few 3rd division sides in Belgium although I have no idea what the standard is like over there. I'm going back over in a couple of weeks to take in a couple of games. Sounds exciting and the experience would be great

Wondered if anyone else had done something like this? Few people I know played in the Finish 2nd division earlier in the year and really enjoyed it (trained everyday!). Said the facilities and pitches were top notch.

Know a few guys who have gone over to America and played with lower league teams aswell as teaching 'soccer' over there!

A few of our youth team have been on loan to lower division Belgian clubs so they cant be too bad if its good experience for them.

Unless you got offered terms the same time as Beckham then either someone was pulling your leg or you'e talking about Baseball.

America have had full team salary caps at $2 million up until just recently

exactly what I was thinking. Some of the figues I was seeing for Beckahms team mates were WELL below that of an average championship player.

Used to often have brits v arabs games when I was living in the UAE. It was like playing against 11 diving feigning Christiano Ronaldos whenever they were touched. Amusing stuff.

A mates brother in law plays for sydney, (think its sidney, the oz team that have just won the league) anyway apparently he loves it, he could have signed for celtic but he doesn't want to leave the club ever! HE isn't on a massive wage as it is capped in oz apart from one player who in Kevin Muskat, for his team, but they get everything else will house, car etc. Sounds sopt on.

Played in Brazil nik as a youngster, but they are very big on home grown players over there and probably wouldn't even offer trials to European players.
But you'd probably get in the reserve teams of most teams in the State leagues.

Why did no one ever question why he wasn't Brazilian before June 2006?
