I'm got Perilli P Zero Asimetrico tyres (195x45x16) and i'm not impressed with them.

People with over 100bhp, what tyres do you have and do yours spin up too easy?

I've had;
Avon ZV1s, they were shocking
Toyo T1S, which were also shocking
Hankook Ventus K105s, which were cheap, but REALLY good
Continental PremiumContact, they were pretty good too
Now I have Uniroyal Rainsports, which are the best so far.

Improving your throttle control will reduce wheelspin the most.

think wheelspin is more down to the driver than the tyres.

Can never understand why people moan about the wear time on Toyo's - I've used them and them only for about the last 6 years on my Nova's and Corsa and I've only had 2 sets - IMO the wear on them is very very good.

I've got Continentals on my Fiat. I probably have just under 100bhp but I have a shit load more torque than most 1.6's and I only wheelspin if I drive like a fool in the wet.

Yeah I know what you mean with the wheelspin, especially on a wet day on a typically shite british road, it is difficult to pull away quickly without wheel spinning. My corsa went though a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's in about 3k miles, and it managed about 4k on a set of Toyo Proxes T1-R's
which had better grip than the goodyears but thats still poor durability.
If toyo's are a "budget tyre"what is a premium tyre? I'm also after a tyre that offers a decent amount of grip and gives me atleast 6k miles before I have to replace them. I would buy Bridgestones as both my parents use them, and they seem really good, but they dont make them in my size!

i've got Dunlop SP9000 on mine the now can i would rate them, also had Rainsports too an would def get them again.

If your goin through tyres that quick with difference makes too, then i would look at your driving style and reducing wheel spin or maybe your tracking/camber set up is wrong?

i think Eagle F1's are one of the best tyres ive had. Had P6000's on my Standrad GSi wheels and they weren't too bad but nothing special.
Currently got R888's

f1's were good on my 1.6 sport but wear fairly quickly,

If your spinning up a 1.6 your giving it way to much throttle, i had to try and spin the wheels up.

my clios got sooo much more power than my old corsa and i dont get to much spin when i boot it off the lights

Everyone said they were crap in the wet, but i thought they were much better than the conti's i had and the khumo's on my previous 106! I haven't had much to compare them with but i like them!
