Think it suffered oil surge and fooked some lifters

You thought that sounded bad, you should hear it now !!!
It's always been tappy due to re-ground cams and me not bothering to shim my lifters, now it sounds propa fooked

Thats a bumemr surely time for some solid or anti pump lifter?

Whats the current spec of the engine?

Corbs turbo was sounding rough on the day but that was only due to the oil getting too hot and thin for the lifters.

Fad - A few people have suggested I switch to solids now, but I dunno. I'll have to get a cost on them.

IMO you dont need solids, its just an unfortunate issue, your spec is brillaint IMO for the peformance, wouldnt change too much

Well its a perfect excuse to spend on it unfortunately but at least it'll be more reliable?

Just smile in the fact you got you moneys worth out of it embarassing almost everything out there.

Fix it I want a ride

Two pics, don't really show the effort that went into the paint. It was washed, clayed, paint cleaned, polished, waxed and bumper shined
This was at the side of the road after it died, so not the best location/pics
