I was thinking to myself yesterday that Ronnie when on top of his game is one of the best sportsman to watch. Simply amazing some of the stuff he does!

Yep as is mentioned so much is natural ability. He really does just flow though and is awesome at picking shots. I love watching snooker in general but ronnie on his day is simply awesome and no-one can touch him.

So George Best shouldn't have been allowed to play football because he was a womanising drunk?

Flawed genius has always existed in sport you take that away and you suck the life out of it, he's great to watch if anything imo.

no one can touch him when he is on this sort of form....with both hands too!

He seems to bottle it when it comes to world ranking tournaments though.

I still dont buy into he's the best that ever walked the face of earth, no doubt he has the talent in him but his temprament is weak and doesn't seem to be getting any better as he gets older!

He's not even close to a Stephen Hendry or even a Steve Davis from the 80s

Hendry was amazing. Although like you said with O'Sullivan, he hasnt got better as he has got older!

Yep been watching the tournament religiously, i'll be gutted when it's finished

I was talking to a 17 year old model from Wishaw who's family friends with John Higgins and he's a Celtic fan so I hope he wins

after yesterday's session i thought (as many) that it was over until that 6-0 earlier. Selby is playing some amazing snooker, intelligent player

Amazing for a 23 year old qualifier really, Higgins has been one of the most prolific scorers to eve pick up a cue, if Selby wins he'll be a deserved champ!

They said Selby was 100/1 to win last night, surely nobody wouldve given odds as high as that?!

If Higgins wins he'll bring the trophy to Parkhead again

Graeme Dott took his to Ibrox last year, they nearly never let him in because they didn't know what the strange looking object was he was carrying....a trophy.
