Hi guys/gals, apologies if posted in the wrong section feel free to move it if so.
Our magazine, Max Power (hear me out first!!) is looking to do a feature on cool, clean modified cars which have cost around £2000 to build.
It's really to show that you don't need to spend a fortune on a car to have a nice looking car, and just really to show the sort of mods you can do for cheap to achieve this.
Anyone own a/know a Corsa which might fit the bill? If so there's the opportunity to have it featured, some professional shots done and we can cover petrol/lunch bill too.
thanks in advance feel free to post any pictures

Does the £2000 cover the value of car or cost of mods?

he put 2k to build in his post so i presume he means, spent 2k on not including price of the car but i could be wrong

But it doesn't look like it did(different wheels etc) plus the fact that i don't own it anymore and he wants to do a shoot of the car/s

Nimrods can be put back on in 10 minutes! Plus the only difference is Show Cage, ICE, and front bumper!

Not really as your general Max Power reader doesn't have the skills!

Sorry folks didn't explain myself very well.
the £2000 is to include the car as well, and just really to show if you had £2000 in your pocket, what you could go out and buy then modify.
thanks for the replys!

you should mention in your article that its cheaper to buy something already modified. My 306 stands me at about 1,300 including the car, minus the plate, but the paint work is shabby on the front end stuff like that.

Be nice to see what people can do with £2k, I know I've spent way over that
Sure be a few folks on here that can fit the bill, nice subtle modifications?

My car cost 2k for me to buy but most of the modification was done, ive just added a sound system ,grill and retrimed the doors myself. The cars lowered 40 sitting on 17's, steinmetz skirts, fully colour coded, debadged, m3 mirrors - think thats it

I have a polo G40 with some modifications (engine -wise) and a couple of bargains, the car cost £2000. Thing is i didn't do the engine work etc. But my mate did all the work and knows everything there is to know about this car (it was his before me). Probably not quite mint enough for a mag feature though stone chips etc. Still would be nice to see a retro- veedub in the mag (i'm not biased or anything)
