Had my corsa for a couple months now, spotted a few guys' project threads nd though maybe a good idea to make myself one. Here goes...
This is what she looked like when i went to pick her up.:
I had to do something with it, as the bumper looked out of place.
Either getting the rest of a body kit to match, or take it off and go for a more subtle look.
I went for the second option, as i prefer subtely modified corsas to heaily 'Jap' modified ones.. also my sister took it to the shop and cracked the front bumper
First to go was the TSW alloys. although not in 'too' bad condition, they were et35 and caught the arches going over anything.
Also the bumper went, replace with a post-97 semi colour coded bumper
Also in went a carbon enclosed air filter, Courtesy of V-Sport , nicely modified bracket to hold it in place -
The grille was next to get, i plain black one did the job
Then i decided to change the rear lights. Am not entirely sure the new ones are legal (as bought off ebay) but they look nice on the car. (still undecided on which to have on)
Old lights:
New lights:
Next was a SPLX sub and amp, which isnt too big, and sounds nice in the corsa.
And the latest thing to be added to the car, is a set of vauxhall MIV astravan sportive alloys, just to give it a nice touch, but standard'ish'
Next to do to it is:
Lower by 40/50mm
Put in my kicker components
Tints
Smoked side repeaters
Maybe do something with bump strips
and keep blackening the black plastics
Coments welcome

Looks really good.
Good decision taking the front bumper off, looks better now.
I'm not sure about the red bump/rub strip, I'm can't make my mind up whether I like it or don't
Those lights look good on black cars in my opinion.
Smoked side repeaters and it will be

agree...the alloys came straight off an astravan , but tyres are pretty much brand new. Gonna leave them on 4 a while and replace with lower profiles when they need replacing.
As for the headlights - maybe black angel eye's / Morrettes (bit expensive tho

right, the side repeaters clip off (maybe a small screwdriver behind them but be carful of scratching the car,) the new ones may just clip in or u may need to stick them on aldepending where you get them from,
the rub strips, get a head gun and lightly and i mean LIGHTLY heat the plastic, it brings it up black again and stays black for longer than just using back to black

what i use its turtle wax(i think) - black trim polish.
literally jaust apply it like you would do onto paintwork, leave a few mins, and wipe over to get rid of any excess
cheers for the comments lads

Yeah i'd definately get one. If yo can afford (or justify paying for) a BMC CDA then get that, but the copys are definately better than standard
