I am so happy today, I got my corsa back!

As some of you might remember, my corsa has the X16XE engine with Steinmetz throttle bodies (the ones with the plenum above). After some problems that I had it's back on the roads now!
The new Dastek unichip has been fitted and I had it rolling roaded before the unichip (with the old mapping in the original ECU) and after fitting and mapping the unichip.
I have the graphs, I will scan them 2morrow at work and post them up!

Before: 141PS
After: 152PS at 7000rpm

The torque is higher too, 1kgm more
It pulls so much harder from 3000rpm and it feels a lot quicker than before!
Note that the compression ratio is not very high (10:9/1) and the cams are the standard ones, just reprofiled!
I will make a thread about it in the Projects and builds section very soon, I just want to make some new fresh photos of it

Slightly off topic but DimDG, are you English? Your typing is better than some of us natives.

Lovely car by the way. I'm a real fan of the Steinmetz stuff.

I am greek, and to be honest I've never lived or even been in the UK! I just keep up with the english language (watching movies, writing in forums blah blah blah) and u guys in here have been a great help for it!

About the steinmetz parts, yeah I am a fan too! I don't want to remember how much money I had invested on them when I was spending amounts of money on the car!

U mean the leather one? I had it on the car but took it off to fit an Isotta one! Honestly I don't remember where it is and what I've done with it!
