Renewed my insurance in feb and stated all the mods when I phoned up......this morning had a letter from them asking for another £375 for the mods what the................!!!!!,not paying it will cancal and go elsewhere!
Anyone else had similar problems with this company or others and also anyone reccomend a decent insurance company that doesn't rip you off for modifications??
The car is'nt even that modified has suspension kit,corsa c wheels,smoked lights all round..exhaust system,air filter,de badge grille and tints thats all!!

Tbh i wouldnt go with an insurence company called that in the first place. Who are they underwritten by?

thats the thing i explained all the mods when i rang for a quote and they were a lot cheaper then they sent me a letter saying they want photos of the car and a full report doing stating all mods when I had already stated them on the phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

surely if they ar part of the insurance board that is regulated. I cant remember exactly what it is called. They providing you state everything to start with then they cant add any more onto your premium. Why not phone them up an ask?

been on the phone to them over an hour and they say they have a new phone system so cant trace my original phone call stating the mods..how convenient for them I went mad

Woul it not be easier to cancel your policy an get insurance from another company. theres plenty of companies that wont fuck you over

Let me know how it goes i've only been driving just over a year and was with elephant but they wouldnt insure me with 60mm springs when i renewed so i changed and these were sooooo much cheaper. I dont know whether its cus i'm a girl and i'm 22 but i've still only been driving a year and i thought that was really good. Its quite easy as well to get a quote and gives u a list of all mods, i think u even tell them if u got bigger speakers. Anyway let me know when u get a quote
