they have tightened my wheel nuts up with an impact gun to over 180 lb/ft (know as I tested them with a torque wrench) took 2 people with a 4ft breaker bar to get them off.
4 bolts have damaged threads and will need new hubs/drums , 2 of the locking bolts have sheared the heads off and the key has snapped. Im now stuck with 2 rear wheels stuck on the car.
they are gonna get a hefty bill tomorrow. along with a rear beam with 2 wheels stuck on it for them to get off without damaging anything.

Vauxhall over-tightened mine the other day, was a complete arse to get them off without decent tools.
Even doing them up with a torque wrench is silly, as you can't undo them at the roadside with the standard bar.

im billing them so far for:
1 new set of locking wheel bolts: £25
12 new wheel bolts from vaux: £24
2 hours labour to remove the bolts so far: £80
2 new front hubs: £80
2 new front wheel bearings: £50
2 new rear drums: £60
2 sets new rear wheel bearings : £20
all new bolts to assemble front hubs: £10
pressing of new front bearings onto hubs: £30
3 hours labour to dismantle and refit the above: £120
so that will be £499
they have agreed to pay all costs as well.

pop round and get the locking wheel nuts off for me then
they were tighter than 180lb/ft, thats all my torque wrench went up to. I imagine they were more like 220+ in reality.
